Making a little history, the creation of the National Association of Breeders and owners of Peruvian Paso Horses, is linked to the contests that were held at that time, with the aim of rewarding and stimulating the effort of breeders; This was an initial motivation to preserve the remarkable characteristics and importance of these equine nobles.

It happened after an imposing competition in the Peruvian Equestrian club, leaving the audience enthralled by an unmatched performance with the elegance and route of this colt, which encouraged them to create this association.
Being on May 18, 1947, at averaging the night, the owners of the participating horses together with some amateur riders, gathered in the cabin of Eugenio Isola Petit Jean, and in a modest ceremony, they created the Association of Breeders and owners of Peruvian Paso Horses in order to recover the prestige of the Peruvian Paso horse and its protection. In which they signed: Federico de la Torre Ugarte, Eugenio Isola Petit Jean, Santiago Gerbolini Ísola, Jorge Juan Pinillos Cox, Carlos Luna de la Fuente, Ernesto Carozzi Ísola, Jose Musante Hurtado, Carlos Parodi Cuya, Oswaldo Llorens Alvarado, Carlos Brazzini Walde , Fernando Fernandini Arena, Carlos and Alfredo Gonzales Byme, Jose Antonio Dapelo Vargas and Santiago Queriolo Ciuffardi.
